We have returned from Israel, truly an exceptional trip (or, as we learned this summer, מגניב)!
I have begun to compile my notes and placed them in a separate section called “Info Pages“. I am not sure I will have much to blog about, seeing as the Summer is over, but perhaps if I get some interesting email, or I have some opinion-thing to post, you might see future posts.
In any event, I hope you find the information I put together useful. I would like to get feedback and further suggestions, so please drop me a line when you have a chance and I may add your suggestion or feedback to my resources.
Shalom and Hello to you all!
In 2017, my wife and I decided to spend the Summer in Israel (mid-June through mid-August), both to help our children learn Hebrew better and to give them the opportunity to develop and deepen their connection with Israel. I spent a few months prior to the visit arranging the logistics, and expecting further to sort things out once we had arrived.
We wanted our Summer both to be fun and meaningful for our family, so we wanted to mix typical vacation events with learning and everyday life. While I found a lot of information about possible events and activities before coming to Israel, as I arrived, I found things were a bit different ‘on the ground’. This site is dedicated to sharing our insights in the hope that it may help you design a trip like ours for your family or friends.
